Nestling in five acres of fenced grounds with its own large well-stocked private fishing lake just ten yards from the door, Sandes By Water is a luxury self-catering holiday cottage providing spacious holiday accommodation in Lincolnshire for up to eight people.

This property is ideal for families who are looking for a peaceful break in the North Lincolnshire are. It is also possible, with paddocks adjacent to the property, to bring your own horses. There are various riding and cycling routes available from the front door, with many more to be had throughout the area.
Situated just South of the Humber Estuary, the property is close to a wildlife Site of Special Scientific Interest. The location is just sixteen miles from the seaside resort of Cleethorpes, with its pier and sandy beaches, seven miles from the Humber Bridge and fifteen miles from the centre of 2017 City of Culture, Hull with its shopping, Marina and The Deep aquarium. The Minster town of Beverley is thirty-five minutes away and the historic Cathedral cities of York and Lincoln are each just over an hour’s drive.
There are several shops, pubs and restaurants within two miles.
Or why not try something different? White Lodge Clay Pigeon Shooting School is only one mile from the doorstep.
Catering for special occasions at the cottage can also be organised from between £15 – £40 per head (by prior arrangement).
Ground Floor Accommodation
A spacious living room with wood burner (initial fuel included) and a separate dining room.
The kitchen has a tiled floor and is equipped with electric cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.
A light and airy conservatory leads onto the patio and large lawned garden with seating area, furniture and BBQ. There is also a spacious summer house with panoramic views of the lake which has tended walks around.
There are 2 double bedrooms with king size beds, one having an en-suite bathroom with corner bath, shower cubicle and toilet; the other an en-suite bathroom and toilet (which also has access from the hall). There is also one twin bedroom.
First Floor Accommodation
One double bedroom with additional sofa bed, en-suite shower room and toilet.
Other Details
Oil central heating and electricity is included.
Please note that there is a £40 per week heating and electricity supplement between November and March.
Bed linen and towels are supplied.
A travel cot and highchair are available on request.
There is also WiFi Internet access, two Freeview Smart TV’s, a Blu-Ray DVD player together with a Play Station 2 and a Wii-U, both with a selection of games.
Other recreational facilities include table tennis, table football and board games.
For Christmas breaks, seasonal decorations are provided.
There is a large parking area to the front of the property.
Prices from £855 to £1500 per week.

Two families with children aged 8-14 sharing. Kitchen well equipped and set in the most stunning serene grounds enjoying private lake, summer house, pontoon for fishing, table tennis and extensive grounds. A real getaway from the hustle and bustle but still close to attractions, towns and beach if needed.

Very pleasant property with all amenities you would need for your stay. Owners very nice and greeted us on arrival and gave a good welcome pack however; respected our privacy but were available should we need anything, not that we did. Lots of information with references to places to visit and places to eat. The guys enjoyed the fishing in the lake that was with the property and we had good weather, what more would you need. Overall it was a lovely place to chill out for a week. Would recommend this property to others.

Fantastic time, beautiful house and location. Every home comfort available and nothing too much trouble for the owners. The beds were the luxury you expect from hotels, the living accommodation spacious, the kitchen had everything that you could want or need, and the three bathrooms/ four toilets meant that there was enough facilities for our party of eight. Hull and the coast were easy to get to, and locally lots of little villages and places to visit. Many thanks for a pleasurable stay, would recommend to anyone.

Hosts very friendly and helpful. fishing went very well. The house was clean with large rooms. Close enough to Lincoln and Hull to make easy day trips. Supermarkets nearby are fine and Hull (where they are larger) not too far away (though we didn’t need them). The nearby Humber Bridge park was an unexpected pleasure.
